`Training Naturally` Natural Horsemanship Clinic! * Stay tuned for upcoming clinic dates * Ocean Breeze Stables Inc. is a horse training, riding & boarding facility located in scenic Metchosin, British Columbia, Canada. Metchosin is a rural suburb of Victoria, and is located approximately 30 minutes from Victoria and 20 minutes from Sooke. We strive on being a fun and relaxed stable, helping children and adults enjoy and further the bond between rider and horse. We currently offer horse boarding opportunities, training, transport, sale and purchase consultation and horseback riding instruction. Kristina Millar is a highly experienced trainer, specializing in Natural Horsemanship theory and practice. She has over 20 years of training and riding experience and deals with everything from colt starting to problem horses to trailering problems. Please visit the training page for more information.
Riding lessons are taught by Kristina Millar, the owner and operator of Ocean Breeze Stables Inc. Kristina is one of the most certified riding instructors in British Columbia. She is certified by the CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) as a Master Instructor with certification in both Level 4 English and Level 4 Western. She also is certified as a Level 1 Driving Instructor. Kristina has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Victoria, and is currently a teacher on-call in the Sooke School District. She understands the processes by which children learn, and can tailor a lesson to fit any student. Kristina also possesses the patience and understanding which is necessary of any good instructor.
